Is there a free plan for small departments?
Yes. Blackhat is free forever — run order management, incident reporting, and 31 days of history with 5 admin accounts and 1 kiosk account. Many small departments run on it before upgrading.
We're a combination or career department — does FireOps1 fit?
Yes. FireOps1 is built for volunteer, combination, and career departments alike — incident command, run orders, and NERIS reporting don't care how your roster is paid. The volunteer-specific features — LOSAP points, participation tracking, active-member status — are simply there when you need them.
Does it track LOSAP points?
Yes. Attendance at calls, events, drills, and training feeds member LOSAP records, and members can see their service hours in the mobile app. LOSAP tracking is included in the Station Admin and Chief plans.
How much training do members need?
Very little. Members check in at the station kiosk with a FOB or PIN and use the mobile app to view calls, their status, and their hours. Every paid plan includes setup assistance and training sessions for officers and members.
Is FireOps1 NERIS compliant?
